Stamford, CT—The 15th Annual ARI Lotstein/Martin Golf Tournament took place on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Sterling Farms Golf Course. The event exceeded all expectations raising over $45,000 that will benefit programs that support adults with disabilities. The highlight of the event was auctioneer Bennett Salvatore. Stamford Resident and NBA Referee Bennett Salvatore assisted in making the auction the most successful in years. Wolf Pack sign forward Maxime Gratchev Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack has signed forward Maxime Gratchev to an American Hockey League contract. Gratchev, a 21-year-old native of Novosibirsk, Russia, is entering his second year of pro hockey. More than 5,000 parent/child and husband/wife teams compete at Pilot Pen The champions of the Pilot Pen Tennis Family Classic, sponsored by USTA New England, AT&T and Dalton Contracting Co., were crowned yesterday at Pilot Pen Tennis at Yale. This year, from January through July, more than 5,000 participants competed in 89 local events at tennis facilities throughout Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
