Queen Nur: Voices of Courage

TheatreworksUSA, America’s largest theatre for young and family audiences, bring plays, musicals, and guest artists to the stage throughout the United States.  On Tues., Feb. 9, you’ll be able to attend “Queen Nur:  Voices in Courage” at The Ridgefield Playhouse. Queen Nur brings to life four exceptionally strong women each of whom is an African-American pioneer:  Sojourner Truth, Ida A. Wells, Mary McLeod Bethune and Cathy Williams.  This will be an indelible event for the whole family, or class.  “Queen Nur: Voices of Courage” is sponsored by the Philip H. and Christine Lodewick Foundation, Union Savings Bank and the Wadsworth Lewis Trust Fund and is part of the Arts in Education series at The Ridgefield Playhouse.
