Getting to Know George: Inspirational Tales of Leadership From the Life of America’s First President

The Stew Leonard III Children’s Library of the South Norwalk Branch Library is proud to present 'Getting to Know George:  Inspirational Tales of Leadership From the Life of America’s First President,' performed by Christina Frei, on Tuesday, February 9, 2010, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Registration is required. 

Frei plays the part of George Washington to draw children into a personal relationship with him. 
 
Learning about the visionary First President of the United States will help them connect with the big decisions he had to make when this country was being formed - includes an exciting workshop with lively tales, dynamic role plays and challenging brainstorming ides exercises to help children learn the inspiring elements of colonial life that laid the foundation for life in America.

This program is sponsored by the City of Norwalk Mayor's Office in collaboration with the Stew Leonard III Children's Library of the South Norwalk Branch Library and supports the Norwalk Public Schools' social studies curriculum.
