Stamford, CT - The Loft Artists Association is hosting their annual “Holiday Show & Boutique” at 575 Pacific Street in Stamford from December 5 to 21. Following the opening reception on Friday, December 5 from 5:30 to 8 pm, the galleries will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4:30 pm.

A variety of items will be available for sale — from original artwork to printed cards, including bookmarks, ceramics, ornaments, photography, screen printed items, clothing, fine and costume jewelry. A portion of all sale proceeds will go to Laurel House, a non-profit center for mental health recovery services.

LAA President Ellen Gordon Is “thrilled that our collaboration is continuing again in 2014. It furthers our community commitment and gives other artists from the community a chance to shine as well.”

The Loft Artists Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to building connections within Fairfield County’s visual arts community and exposing the general public to artists and their work. Their grassroots events attract thousands of visitors throughout the tri-state area and have been recognized by funding agencies, including the Connecticut Commission on the Arts, corporate and private sponsors, the City of Stamford and by visitors who return year after year.

Laurel House, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Stamford, CT that provides resources and opportunities for people living with mental illness — to help them lead fulfilling and productive lives in the communities where they live, work and study.

“Holiday Show & Boutique” is open Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4:30 pm, with handicapped access available. Admission and parking are free. For directions and more information visit or call 203-247-2027.
