Norwalk, CT - Final preparations are underway for a brand new antique show coming to South Norwalk this weekend. The Fairfield County Show – Fine Arts & Antiques promises to be one of the best and most diverse shows Connecticut has seen in years. Presented by Disaia & Bittel Management, the Show will run Friday, December 2 through Sunday, December 4 at the Sono Field House in South Norwalk. A special Preview Party will be held on December 2 at 6.30 pm benefitting Norwalk Hospital. All proceeds from the Preview Party will support patient-centered care initiatives at the Hospital.
“We are honored to be chosen as the beneficiary of this exciting new show. The Preview Party promises to be festive, fun and loaded with great holiday shopping opportunities,” shared Mary Franco, President, Norwalk Hospital Foundation. “Guests can enjoy antiquing while supporting their local community hospital,” added Franco.
The Show’s selection of objects includes fine works of art, folk art, ceramics (English, American and Chinese), 17th, 18th, and 19th century fine American and English furniture, elaborate English boxes, nautical works of art, early American silver, fine jewelry, Shaker, garden furniture and accessories, fireplace material, early glass, Oriental rugs, early toys, fine 18th and 19th century prints, rare books, great American early U.S. flags, quilts and weathervanes.
Guests will have the unique opportunity to shop among 60 dealers, who are involved in some of the very best shows in this country including New York’s Winter Show, the Philadelphia Antiques Show, the Delaware Antiques Show, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts US Artists Show, The Folk Art Show, Newport, Nantucket, Wayside, The Washington Winter Show, The ADA/Historic Deerfield Show and The Connecticut Antiques Show.
