The popular fundraising art sale and event for collectors and enthusiasts returns to the Silvermine Arts Center in New Canaan. Whether you are beginning or expanding your art collection, “Signed, Sealed & Delivered” is a wonderful chance to purchase original works of art by Silvermine Guild artists, School of Art Faculty and invited artists. Returning for the tenth year this fall, with a Private Collectors Party on Saturday, October 29th from 5pm to 7pm, the event is open to the public on Sunday, October 30th from 3pm to 5pm. Featuring over 500 original works of art all 4”x6”, including paintings, prints, photographs, mixed media, and collages. An element of mystery contributes to the fun of this event: the artist?s signature is on the back, visible ONLY after purchase. All works for sale are $50…. If you buy three you get the fourth free!

The private Collector?s Party (with wine and hors d?oeuvres) on Saturday is a unique opportunity to view and purchase artworks for those who want to be „first in line" for this extraordinary sale and add to their collection. In addition to the works available at the Collector's Party, there will be a silent auction on specially selected works of art. Advanced reservations are required to attend this showing and sale on October 29th with tickets at $35 per person.

Silvermine Guild members, and participating artists, Tom Bernsten a resident of Norwalk, Nash Hyon from Wilton, Roger Mudre from Weston, and Nancy Nikkal, a resident of Hastings-on-Hudson, New York return as co-chairs with new co-chair DeAnn Prosia from Newtown joining them for the 10th year of Signed, Sealed & Delivered. “As the works are signed on the back and exhibited so that the artists' signatures cannot be seen, they won't know who created which piece.” said committee member Roger Mudre. Nash Hyon adds that “A collector might end up with a work by a famous artist or someone they had not known of. But what they walk away with is wonderful art and they support the great programs at Silvermine.”
