Greenwich, CT - The Greenwich Art Society proudly presents “Glaser and the Grid” A solo exhibition by Scott Glaser from the artist’s personal collection from December 7– January 3, 2020 at the Greenwich Art Society Gallery. The grid system is the common thread in Glaser’s work. From cityscapes created from men’s suit fabric, portrait mosaics made completely from Band-Aid-like bandages, neo-pointillist drawings, photorealist paintings or mixed media pieces. The paintings are on view Tuesday through Friday 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Saturday noon – 4:00 PM. Located at 299 Greenwich Avenue 2nd floor, Greenwich, CT

This centuries-old system has opened a lot of doors for Scott. Corporate doors at Hyatt, Kate Spade, China Merchants Bank, Perkins Eastman Architects, Fisher Development and the City of Stamford. And it opened front doors of private collectors in New York City, Palm Beach, Boston, Paradise Valley and Greenwich. Regardless of style, medium, substrate or concept, using the grid allows him to recreate precisely what he sees in his reference photo onto the working surface.

All works can be purchased by contacting the Greenwich Art society at 203-629-1533 between 9:30 am and 12:30 PM Monday through Friday or by emailing greenwichartsociety@verizon.net please visit www.greenwichartsociety.org.
