The Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut (CGC), a non-profit mental health resource serving children and adolescents from Stamford, Greenwich, Darien and New Canaan, has received a $10,000 grant from First County Bank Foundation, Inc.
The grant will provide support for CGC’s Emergency Mobile Crisis Services program that offers immediate mental health assessment and crisis stabilization services to children and adolescents with serious psychiatric symptoms or reactions to traumatic events. The program focuses on youth suicide and violence prevention and provides round-the-clock mobile services to stabilize emergencies at home, school and in the community.
“We are deeply grateful for the continued support shown by First County Bank Foundation,” said CGC Executive Director Sherry Perlstein. “Their longstanding commitment to local charitable needs is a testament to their dedication to the community.”
