Fairfield County Bank appoints three to staff supervisors

Ridgefield, CT - Fairfield County Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of three new Staff Support Supervisors, Catherine McKenna, Mahtab Ahmed, and Penny Apazidis.

Catherine McKenna joined the Bank’s Weston office in the fall of 2010 as a Customer Service Representative, and has recently been appointed Staff Support Supervisor for the Danbury Road office. She previously held the position as Assistant Manager at JP Morgan Chase where she was responsible for training employees on the day-to-day teller functions.

Mahtab Ahmed joined the Bank’s Ancona’s office in the fall of 2001 as a Customer Service Representative, and has recently been appointed Staff Support Supervisor for the Compo Road office.

Penny Apazidis joined the Bank’s Danbury Road office in the spring of 2009 as a Certified Professional Teller, and has recently been appointed Staff Support Supervisor for the Bridgeport office.

The Staff Support Supervisor handles branch operational matters, demonstrating supervisory skills for feedback, and developing teller staff. Additional responsibilities include insuring security and bank approved practices and policies are used; supporting and managing system and policy changes; promoting the Bank’s vision and core values; new teller training and delegating tasks; monitoring teller referrals, cash variances, and customer service shop scores.
