Joe Calzone Steps Downs from Babcock & King, Inc. Board of Directors

FAIRFIELD, CT - Babcock & King, Inc., parent company for Five Star Products, Inc. and Five Star Marine, Inc. headquartered in Fairfield, CT, announces that Joseph Calzone, President and Founder of the Calzone Anvil Case Company, has stepped down from its Board of Directors after 12 years of service as required by company bylaws.

"We are grateful to Joe for his many years of helping guide Babcock & King's growth," stated Chairman Mike Burnell. "His dedication and insight have been invaluable and he has been an unfailing example of the character and integrity that is the foundation of our success. We want to express our heartfelt appreciation to Joe, and our very best wishes."

“I have enjoyed seeing Babcock & King, Inc. grow over the past decade and transform itself into a results-oriented company with a strong management team at the helm,” stated Joe Calzone. “I wish the company continued success.” Presently, the board of directors has four members of which three are independent directors.
