Rocky Hill, CT - Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on January 24th at its newest location in the Stratford ShopRite. State and local leaders joined members of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council and the Stratford Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the official Grand Opening of the credit union’s first location in Fairfield County.

The public enjoyed exclusive promotions and was invited to meet Nutmeg’s helpful staff and learn more about the customer benefits the nonprofit credit union has to offer. This is Nutmeg’s ninth branch and is dedicated to serving former members of the Housatonic Teachers Financial Credit Union and all those in surrounding towns.

“We would like to thank the many members of the business and legislative community who came out to show their support and gave us such a warm welcome,” said John Holt, President & CEO of Nutmeg. “We look forward to further expansion opportunities across the region.”
