Owners Nolan and Patricia West bring their small batch, all natural premium ice cream to Old Greenwich, CT in the form of a newly revamped Longford's Own-Made Ice Cream owned and operated sweet shop and creamery. Longford’s, and award-winning, twenty year old frozen dessert brand continues to produce some of the best tasting, highest quality ice cream, sorbet, frozen yogurt, and gelato in the New York tri-state area.
Located at 146 Sound Beach Avenue in the charming town of Old Greenwich, the space, which was previously operated by a franchisee of Longford’s, has been taken over by Longford’s owners Nolan and Pat West and has undergone an impressive transformation. The vibrant space is now an oasis for sweet treats and family fun offering Longford’s signature ice cream flavors, along with self-serve soft yogurt sold by weight and an over-the-top selection of self-serve toppings including candy pieces, fruit, nuts, sprinkles and a revolving selection of scrumptious surprises. Longford’s ice cream is also sold in pint and quart containers, as well as various ice cream cake sizes and varieties.
In addition to Longford’s frozen indulgences, the new Old Greenwich shop features a sweet shop component with an array of candy sold by the pound. Childhood favorites such as caramels, taffy and chocolate kisses, share the stage with gummy worms, fireballs and today’s latest and greatest sweet concoctions.
Store Manager Lynn Conners brings over 13 years of retail food service experience with her along with a passion for the Longford’s brand and creating a destination for children of all ages. “I’m excited to be a part of this new concept,” beams Lynn, “I especially enjoy helping customers create their sundaes. It’s a lot of fun for everyone!”
