NEW CANAAN, CT - Two major area organizations, Ladies Who Launch and Unleash Your Voice, will join forces through a panel discussion on March 28th to celebrate 5 local women who have made history in their own right. The event will be held at the Carlisle Showroom in Greenwich, Conn. on March 28th from 6pm to 8pm and seating is limited, according to co-host and moderator, Kathy McShane, managing director of Ladies Who Launch.

McShane’s co-host and co-developer of this Women’s History Month panel discussion, is former actress, author, life coach and founder of Unleash Your Voice, Allyson Spellman, who previously was an entertainment producer and casting director who has worked in various capacities for TV, film and Broadway. Spellman said that the event is being sponsored by The Greenwich Girl, a lifestyle blog for people who want to be in the know. “This fabulous blog helps you to know where to shop, where to eat, who to meet and frankly, how to meet them,” Spellman said.

According to McShane, “It’s amazing the number of women in Connecticut who have made history and Allyson and I believed that we don’t take time to recognize and celebrate them. This event is way to bring women together and celebrate their accomplishments”.

Other panelists for the event besides Spellman include Lauren Collier, a part-time meteorologist for News 12 Connecticut; Millie Grenough- coach, author of 10 books, motivational speaker and clinical instructor in Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine; Debbie Nigro is the Owner and Executive Producer of “The Debbie Nigro Show” a talk radio program that currently airs live from 1-2pm eastern time on AM 1230 WFAS in the NY area and live worldwide online on WFASam.com; and Dianna Russini is a sports anchor and news reporter for NBC CT. She started her local news television career at News 12 Hudson Valley in New York as a general assignment reporter.
