Webster Bank, a leading regional bank, earlier in December announced the promotion of Karl D. Adamsons to senior vice president – group financial manager.

Adamsons, who has been with Webster since 2000, has been serving as the business financial officer responsible for supporting consumer finance since 2009. He is credited with enhancing the quality and comprehensiveness of financial insight.

“Webster works hard to recognize and promote internal talent,” said G. Christopher Beede, senior vice president, business finance. “Karl has been a tremendous partner and team leader. He’s a trusted advisor who is highly committed to staff development and efficiency.”

A resident of Portland, CT., Adamsons coaches junior baseball and is a team manager and scheduler with the Connecticut Junior Wolfpack Youth Hockey organization. He earned his bachelors degree in economics from the University of Connecticut and his masters in management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
