Bowersox is in her element in concert, typically performing both original music and covers while playing guitar accompanied by her band. At a July performance, Crystal’s version of Patsy Cline’s Sweet Dreams “paid tribute to the original without slavishly copying it, and Me and Bobby Magee had a rousing energy…” Her first two albums are Farmer’s Daughter and All That for This. After Always ... Patsy Cline debuts in the fall, Bowersox will release her first holiday album, which she hints will feature "amazing guests."
