Jazz, wine & cheese are the ingredients for a great night out when Pat Metheny is center stage at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Thursday, October 11. Multiple Grammy® Award winner Pat Metheny Unity Band will show why Metheny has been voted “Best Jazz Guitarist” in countless polls. He has earned three Gold records for (Still Life) Talking, Letter from Home, and Secret Story. This event is sponsored by No. 109 Cheese & Wine who will host a complimentary wine and cheese tasting in the lobby at 7:15 p.m.

Piccolo Pizza and Jazzeria (24 Prospect St., Ridgefield) is offering a free glass of wine at dinner the night of the show when tickets/stubs are presented. This event is partially underwritten by Route 7 Music, Brookfield, CT.

With Chris Potter, Antonio Sanchez & Ben Williams, Pat Metheny Unity Band’s jazz guitarist Pat Metheny is considered one of the brightest stars in the jazz community. It is one thing to attain popularity as a musician, but it is another to receive the kind of acclaim Metheny has garnered from critics and peers.

For tickets ($85), call the box office at 203-438-5795, or order online at ridgefieldplayhouse.org. The Ridgefield Playhouse is a not-for-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT.
