Big Head Todd and the Monsters are known for their signature sound of rhythm & blues with soul, reggae, funk and other pop styles. The current lineup is Todd Park Mohr on vocals, guitar, keyboards, saxophone and harmonica; Brian Nevin on drums, percussion and vocals; Rob Squires on bass guitar and vocals, and Jeremy Lawton (the newest member) on keyboards, pedal steel guitar and vocals. Their Billboard chart albums include Sister Sweetly (U.S. Platinum), Strategem, Beautiful World and Riviera. The band hails from Colorado and, in the past 24 years, has grown into a recording force thanks to Internet-based music sales. Big Head Todd’s “Blue Sky” single was commissioned by crewmembers of the Space Shuttle Discover for their 2005 mission (the first after the Columbia disaster). Three years later, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton chose “Blue Sky” as her presidential campaign song and the opener for her keynote at the Democratic National Convention.
