The Official Blues Brothers® Revue stars Wayne Catania as Jake and Kieron Lafferty as Elwood and is the only Blues Brothers show officially sanctioned and produced by Dan Ackroyd and wife of the late John Belushi (Judith Belushi Pisano). Musical director is Paul Shaffer of Saturday Night Live and Late Night with David Letterman fame. The talented musicians will play all of the classics such as “Soul Man”, “Rubber Biscuit”, “Sweet Home Chicago”, “Rawhide” and “Gimme Some Lovin” in concert on Saturday, February 16, at 8 p.m. at The Ridgefield Playhouse. Combining the comedy and hits from the original movie, this event pays homage to Chicago's rich history of blues, gospel and soul music. Jake, ? Elwood and the band hit the right balance of humor, music and mayhem for an upbeat and uplifting show for all ages. An AllShows.com VIP Party Pass ($25 addt'l per person), which includes a pre-show cocktail party 6:30 – 7:15 p.m. with open bar, hors-d’oeuvre and priority parking is available for this show, which is part of the Guinness Black Lager Rock Series.

Jeff Johnson of The Chicago Sun Times raved” “Infectious and unbridled energy…it blows the roof off.” “A hand-clappin’, foot-stompin’ good time”, writes Chicago Theatre Look about the Blues Brothers® Revue.

For tickets ($50), call the box office at 203-438-5795. For more information on The Ridgefield Playhouse, visit ridgefieldplayhouse.org. The Ridgefield Playhouse is a not-for-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT.
