Clowning around with Circus Follies

Unicycling, balancing and aerial acts, jugglers, dancing, dogs and clowning at its best will be center stage at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, April 30, at 11 a.m. & 2 p.m. Presented by New York Stage Works, Circus Follies brings an action-packed show to families in a one-of-a-kind program.
Unicycling, balancing and aerial acts, jugglers, dancing, dogs and clowning at its best will be center stage at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, April 30, at 11 a.m. & 2 p.m. Presented by New York Stage Works, Circus Follies brings an action packed show to families in a one-of-a-kind program. This production is part of the Playhouse’s Pepsi Children’s Series and is underwritten by Chuck E. Cheese’s with media sponsor 98Q. This show’s Union Savings Bank "Arts for Everyone" recipient is TBICO (The Bridge to Independence & Career Opportunities).

International star and former Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus clown Mark Stolzenberg combines talents with Anna Jack, star of the Moscow Circus for “…clowning that continuously entertains”, wrote The New York Times. Anna Jack is considered one of the best hoola hoop artists in the world and has been on Broadway in Circus Diva and in the musical Barnum. Mr. Stolzenberg has been on The David Letterman Show several times, has performed as a mime and comic actor with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and has numerous stage shows and international festivals to his credit. Together, Anna Jack and Mark Stolzenberg make clowning around a center ring attraction.
