Mirroring the real band KISS, KISS Alive! recreates the look, sound and stage presence of the original band to complete accuracy and authenticity including the black & white comic book character make-up. It will be a trip back to 1973 when KISS ALIVE! rocks out for charity at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, December 6, at 8 p.m. Their iconic hits include “Rock and Roll All Night”, “Lick it Up” and “Beth”. This event is a fundraiser for Breath from An Angel, a memorial fund in honor of Tommy Chisholm, who died at two years old in 2011. For tickets ($30, $45 Gold Circle Seating and Meet & Greet), call or visit the box office at The Ridgefield Playhouse, (203) 438-5795, or order online at ridgefieldplayhouse.org. (contributed photo)

This event is a fundraiser for Breath from An Angel, a memorial fund in honor of Tommy Chisholm, who died at two years old in 2011. Part of the proceeds from ticket sales and silent/live auctions will be donated to Breath from an Angel. KISS was little Tommy’s favorite band. Part of the proceeds from ticket sales and silent/live auctions will be donated to Breath from an Angel. This not-for-profit organization raises funds to purchase specialty equipment used to support the transport of patients who need ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) treatment. Because of Tommy’s family’s experience, it is their hope that Breath from An Angel can help future patients who need specialized medical treatment. This event is part of the Xfinity Rock Series with media sponsor WPLR 99.1fm.

KISS ALIVE! thrills with the true KISS experience: flamboyant stage outfits, fire breathing, blood spitting, smoking guitars, shooting rockets, levitating drum kits and more outrageous effects. The tribute band began emulating their rock heroes on the streets of The Bronx in 1999. Over the years, they have evolved their show at rock venues, festivals, casinos and theaters across the country. The original KISS racked up several distinctions: No. 1 on Hit Paraders' "Top 100 Live Bands", No. 9 on MTV’s “The Greatest Metal Bands” list and No. 10 on VH1’s “100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock”. KISS has been awarded 28 Gold albums, the most of any American rock band. They have sold more than 100 million records, making them one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time. Through the tribute band KISS ALIVE!, they live!

The Ridgefield Playhouse is a not-for-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT.
