Mashantucket, CT - Star of MTV2’s hit show, Guy Code, Dean Edwards, will make his inaugural visit to Comix At Foxwoods when he keeps the audience in stitches from Thursday, Dec. 12 to Saturday, Dec. 14. Edwards will take the stage four times, with performances at 8 p.m. nightly before a 10:30 p.m. ‘nasty’-themed show on Saturday to round out the weekend in style.

Tickets are on sale now and are $20 for general advance admission ($30 day of) with VIP advance admission tickets available for $40 ($50 day of). A two-drink minimum applies to all tickets. The show is 21+ and is for mature audiences only.

Tickets are available online at www.comixatfoxwoods.com; by calling the Foxwoods Box Office at 800-200-2882; or in person at the Comix, Fox Theater or MGM Grand Theater Box Offices. Please contact the Comix Comedy Club at 860-312-5050 for additional information or with questions regarding group sales or private parties.

With a dynamic energy and almost tangible onstage presence, Edwards remains one of comedy’s most in demand performers worldwide. As one of the stars of Guy Code, he has helped it become the most successful in network history. He has made several late night appearances, including The Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Last Call with Carson Daly, and is a frequent guest on Comic Unleashed.

Edwards first made his mark in comedy during two successful seasons as a cast member on Saturday Night Live. With such memorable impressions as Don Cheadle, Michael Jackson and Denzel Washington, as well as original characters including "Man in Elevator" and "Cop#2," he always pushed himself to the limits of creativity. Feature credits include “Spiderman 3,” while his first comedy CD, “Real Talk with Fake People, Volume 1” debuted at the top of iTunes comedy charts in 2009.

Edwards’ first big break came on Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam, and he was subsequently featured on Showtime at the Apollo a few years later. He also worked with Spike Lee on the hit feature film, “The Original Kings of Comedy,” and has since earned a reputation at comedy clubs and colleges across the country. An international sensation, he has attended comedy festivals worldwide, and more recently, completed a tour of the Middle East.

Laugh it up at Comix at Foxwoods with upcoming shows including: Steve Byrne (Oct 31-Nov 2, Comix); Eddie Pepitone (Nov 7-9, Comix); John Mulaney (Nov 8, Fox Theater); Jim Breuer (Nov 9, Fox Theater); Sebastian Maniscalco (Nov 14-16, Comix); Rodney Carrington (Nov 16, Fox Theater); Lahna Turner and Billy Wayne Davis (Nov 21-23, Comix); Tracy Morgan (Nov 23, Fox Theater); Michael Che (Nov 29-30, Comix); Ralphie May (Dec 6, Fox Theater); Nick Kroll (Dec 13, Fox Theater); Lisa Lampanelli (Dec 14, MGM Grand) and Bob Marley (Jan 25, Fox Theater).
