Cultural Alliance of Western CT seeks local band to open for The Zoo

The Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut and Danbury Fair are seeking a local cover band to open for The Zoo, the region's longtime "powerhouse" club favorite, on Thursday, July 3rd at the Mall's annual holiday fireworks show.

The band will play from 6pm to ­7:30pm, followed by headliner The Zoo, all leading up to the fireworks launch at dusk (9:30-ish). The event is open to all musical genres, styles and "look." However, the selected band will be best suited to an audience of families and small children. A stage is provided. The selected band must provide its own sound system and tech. Danbury Fair's promotions of the event, including its web site, will announce the band's participation extensively.
