2nd Annual Benefit Event Offers Seasonal Thrills and Chills
From October 22-25 and October 29-November 1, 2009, the Farmington Miniature Golf and Ice Cream Parlor will be transformed into a ghoulishly fun adventure as witches, ghosts and skeletons rule the night – and the days, too – during the Farmington Valley Visitors Association’s Second Annual Haunted Miniature Golf benefit event and celebration.
18 holes of Halloween fun await participants from the moment they enter through the 12-foot-high Jack-O-Lantern. Face painting and photos with “Garish the Ghoul” will be available for those who dare. Guests can attempt to catch a mysterious moving doughnut, wander through a haunted graveyard, visit Dracula’s Fountain and the Haunted Pirate’s Tavern, and meet many other creatures of the night. Special Halloween treats will be available at the Ice Cream Parlor.
The Farmington Miniature Golf & Ice Cream Parlor is located at 1048 Farmington Avenue (Rte 4) in Farmington, CT. Haunted Miniature Golf will be held at the following times: Thursdays (10/22 & 10/29) 4-10 pm, Fridays (10/23 & 10/30) 3-10 pm, Saturdays (10/24 & 10/31) 12-10 pm, and Sundays (10/25 & 11/1) 12-7 pm.
Admission is $8 per person. Advance ticket sales are not required and all credit cards are accepted. Private group packages are available on Wednesdays by contacting the Farmington Miniature Golf & Ice Cream Parlor at 860-677-0018.
