Ferguson launches brand new book discussion series

STAMFORD, CT - The Ferguson Library is launching a new book discussion series: Just Add Show Tunes – Books That Became Classic American Musicals. This will be a lively discussion series based on popular Broadway musicals. Curtain Call’s Bill Squier leads the conversation with music, dramatic readings and backstage stories about the original productions.

Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.

Main Library Third Floor Conference Room



September 20

Man of La Mancha, based on Don Quixote

October 18

Fiddler on the Roof, based on Tevye the Dairyman



December 6

The Sound of Music, based on The Trapp Family Singers



January 10

Wicked, based on Gregory Maguire’s novel of the same name



Books are available at the Main Library. Call 203 351-8231 to reserve a seat.
