Direct from China, the Golden Dragon Acrobats return to The Palace Theatre in Stamford for two thrilling and exciting performances on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM & 7:30 PM. This show is the perfect way to spend an afternoon or evening with the whole family over the Thanksgiving Day weekend. Tickets are on sale now at www.SCAlive.org. The 2012-2013 season is made possible through the generosity of SCA’s Season Sponsors Seaboard Properties, Inc. and The Whittingham Family.

The Golden Dragon Acrobats represent the best of a time honored tradition that began more than twenty-five centuries ago. This troupe is recognized throughout the United States and abroad as the premiere Chinese acrobatic touring company of today.

The reputation of the company is solidly rooted in a commitment to the highest of production values and an attention to artistic details that is unparalleled in the art form. World renowned impresario Danny Chang and choreographer Angela Chang combine award-winning acrobatics, traditional dance, spectacular costumes, ancient and contemporary music and theatrical techniques to present a show of breathtaking skill and spellbinding beauty.

The members of the current touring company, hailing from Hebei, China, have performed in all of the lower 48 U.S. states within the last three years alone to sold-out audiences in nearly every major market in the country. The Golden Dragons remain the only Chinese acrobatic company touring year-round in the United States.

Tickets for Golden Dragon Acrobats on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM & 7:30 PM cost $40, $30, & $20 for adults and $20, $15, & $10 for children 12 and under. For tickets, go to www.SCAlive.org, charge by phone with major credit cards by calling the SCA Box Office at 203-325-4466 or in person at the Palace Theatre Box Office in downtown Stamford, CT.
