Great rockers will entertain at The Ridgefield Playhouse

Having produced 21 Top 40 Hits, including their #1 singles “Mama Told Me (Not To Come)”, “Joy to The World” and “Black And White”, Three Dog Night is one of the most successful bands of all time. They will be in concert at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Thursday, November 1, at 8 p.m. singing their impressive songbook that includes “Celebrate”, “Out in the Country”, “An Old-Fashioned Love Song”, “One”, “Try a Little Tenderness”, “Eli’s Coming” and “Easy to be Hard”. Three Dog Night was inducted into The Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2000 and released two new singles in 2009 – “Heart of Blues” and “Prayer of the Children” – which are available exclusively online at iTunes. Special guest is The Characters, a pop/powerpop/rock band from New Jersey. Media sponsor is WEBE 108fm. Both events are part of the Guinness Black Lager Rock Series.

On Saturday, November 3, at 8 p.m., the legendary voice of Supertramp, British rock icon Roger Hodgson, will headline at The Ridgefield Playhouse. Recognized as one of the most gifted composers, songwriters and lyricists of our time, Roger Hodgson wrote and arranged most of Supertramp’s hits that led to more than 60 million record sales and produced the enduring songs “Give A Little Bit”, “Dreamer”, “It’s Raining Again”, “Take the Long Way Home”, “The Logical Song”, “Breakfast In America”, “Fool’s Overture” and many others. A pre-show cocktail party with light hors-d’oeuvre courtesy of Bissell House & Fifty Coins Restaurant plus open bar will be in the lobby for all ticket holders from 6:30-7:15 p.m.?
