Heights & Lights returns to Stamford Downtown on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 5:00 pm, when Santa and his friends will once again make their grand rappell down the 22 stories of Stamford’s Landmark Building. Rappelling Santa is presented this year by First Niagara and Reckson, A Division of SL Green Realty Corp. Enjoy a spectacular Fireworks Display and watch the exciting descent of Guest Rappellers, Brian Cashman, GM NY Yankees and Rick Reichmuth, Meteorologist, FOX News Channel.

After the rappel, Santa’s busy holiday schedule will take him straight up Bedford Street to Latham Park where he will join the Stamford Community at First Niagara’s Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony with the Activities for Kids Chorus Directed by Jerry Pia. The Holiday Tree was donated by Bartlett Tree Company.

Stamford Downtown is pleased to welcome First Niagara Bank as first-time presenting sponsor of Height & Lights. First Niagara entered the Connecticut market in April of 2011, and has three branch offices in Stamford, with a fourth branch opening soon in Harbor Point. “In every market we serve, First Niagara’s goal is to be a welcomed neighbor and active contributor in the community,” said First Niagara Regional President David Ring. “We are thrilled to be in Stamford, and to help continue this great tradition for city residents.”

In addition to First Niagara, Heights & Lights is also sponsored by Reckson, A Division of SL Green Realty Corp., The Advocate, 95.9 The Fox, Star 99.9, WEBE 108, Bartlett Tree Company and Happyhaha.com and brought toyou by The City of Stamford and The Stamford Downtown Special Services District. THIS EVENT IS FREE!
