Consummate entertainer John Tesh and his Big Band will be “swinging” into town for “a Merry Little Christmas”! on Saturday, December 21, at 8 p.m. at The Ridgefield Playhouse. John along with fourteen performers will play favorite holiday tunes in the big band style and treat the audience of all ages to piano solos and charm. Consummate entertainer John Tesh and his Big Band Orchestra will be “swinging” into town for “a Merry Little Christmas”! on Saturday, December 21, at 8 p.m. at The Ridgefield Playhouse. John along with fourteen performers will play favorite holiday tunes in the big band style and treat the audience to piano solos and charm with his engaging rapport. This holiday event is partially underwritten by Adam Broderick Salon and Spa and is part of the Ridgefield Magazine Broadway and Cabaret Series?with media sponsor WEBE 108 fm. For dinner-and-a-show, Bernard’s (22 West Lane, Ridgefield) is offering a free glass of wine with dinner or a $45 special prix-fixe dinner when tickets are presented; reservations suggested.

With four gold albums, two Grammy nominations, six music Emmys, an Associated Press award for investigative journalism and the nationally syndicated "John Tesh Radio Show", John is a leading figure in the entertainment industry as a pianist, composer, radio host, television presenter and sportscaster. The John Tesh Big Band Christmas CD and national concert tour are annual favorites. His bigger than life personality shines on stage with his stories, humor and occasional life-enhancing tips from his "Intelligence For Your Life" radio show, which is syndicated on more than 400 radio stations in North America and the United Kingdom. John Tesh has sold more than eight million records and was the popular longtime co-host of the television program Entertainment Tonight.
