McMahon, Miss CT and other stars to be at this weekend's expo's opening ceremony

The 9th Annual Comcast Connecticut Women’s Expo will take place on Saturday, September 10th from 10:00 - 6:00 and Sunday, September 11th from 10:00 to 5:00 at the Connecticut Expo Center in Hartford. Attendees will experience Shopping with Hundreds of Unique Vendors, Prize Giveaways, FREE Samples, Celebrity Appearances, Fashion Shows, Book Signings, Fun Live Demonstrations, Beauty Makeovers, Psychic Readings and FREE Health Screenings by St. Francis Hospital.

Linda McMahon and 2010 Miss Connecticut Brittany Decker will be performing the official ribbon cutting opening ceremony at the 9th annual Comcast Connecticut Women’s Expo on September 10 at the Connecticut Expo Center at 10:00 AM.

See Sharalynn Kuziak, Miss Connecticut 2009 will be on the runway during the Kathy Faber fashion show on Sunday from 1:00 - 1:45.

It's no wonder that the Comcast Connecticut Women's Expo attracts more than 20,000 Visitors each year. This highly anticipated event continues to offer a truly interactive experience designed just for women. Discover new beauty breakthroughs, meet your favorite daytime soap opera stars, meet WWE Superstars plus, visit over 400 Exhibits and enter to win a $1,000 gift card from ShopRite.

Major network television soap opera celebrities scheduled to appear:

Galen Gering, who plays “Rafe Hernandez” on NBC's Days of Our Lives will appear on Saturday from 12:00 to 5:00 and on Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00 and he will be providing attendees with a FREE personalized autographed photo.

Meet WWE Superstar Alex Riley and WWE Diva Kaitlyn. They will be signing autographs on Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00.

Fun stage events are now scheduled that include: Fashion Shows by Dress Barn and Kathy Faber Designs. Dance Demonstrations including: Hip Hop, Zumba, Salsa, Pole Dancing Kickboxing, Step and Ballroom instruction. Also on stage are Fitness training sessions and beauty makeovers that will interact with the audience.

Free Health Screenings to be provided by St. Francis Hospital:

They will be offering free health screenings to attendees all weekend including:

* Heart Risk Assessment

* Body Fat Screenings

* Nutritional Assessment

These screenings will help provide our attendees with a critical foundation for early disease detection and prevention.

We will also have providers offer Flu Shots to attendees at a nominal fee.

Comcast will be offering FREE Massages in their booth.

Free 10 Minute Makeover and 7 Layer Skin Analysis to all attendees provided by Epic Beauty in the ATT Mobility Pavilion.

This years’ Comcast Connecticut Women's Expo is bigger and better than ever before with many new exhibitors, sponsors and stage events. The soap opera star appearance from Days of our Lives and the WWE Superstars will surely draw a record crowd.
