The Darien Arts Center is pleased to announced that Yoav Levin will be returning to the Darien Arts Center to teach a master workshop in “Broadway Theatre Dance” on Saturday, February 6 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Cost for the class is $25. You should call the Darien Arts Center’s administration office to register. Major credit cards are acceptable.
Yoav Levi is a sought after New York City performer/choreographer who also teaches dance at the famed AMDA. He brings his unique brand of theatre dance to the Darien Arts Center on Saturday, January 2 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and again on Saturday, February 6 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Register early since class size is limited. Mr. Levin, who recently choreographed the Darien Arts Center’s Cabaret production of “Man of La Mancha,” is a winner and recipient of an America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship for outstanding achievement in the performing arts. He excelled at the scholarship auditions and won this scholarship by virtue of his rare natural talent in dance and the performing arts. Mr. Levin also received a generous scholarship to attend AMDA in light of his exceptional talent as a dancer.
He is a graduate of the highly esteemed American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City where he studied musical theater, acting, dance and voice and where he now teaches.
Prior to enrolment at AMDA, Mr. Levin studied dance and musical theater in Israel under the supervision of the top dancers, performers and choreographers in the country. He was a member of the national Israeli dance and theater groups including: The Dollbeat Group, The Israeli Black-Light Theater and the Karmon Dance Company.
