The Ridgefield Playhouse Film Society “Documentary Film Series” screening of the award-winning documentary about the true face of war, Body of War, which was scheduled for Friday, November 9, has been postponed to 2013 on a date that will be mutually agreed upon by co-director Phil Donahue and The Ridgefield Playhouse. Artistic Director of The Ridgefield Playhouse Film Society Joseph Consentino commented: “Due to the super storm Sandy, we feel that there are too many people struggling to get their lives back with no means of normal communication to be able to hold the Body of War event on November 9. Television legend and co-director of Body of War, Phil Donahue, was to be on hand for the post-screening Q&A and is still committed to participating in this Playhouse event on the new date in 2013, which the Playhouse will announce as soon as possible.”
The Eric Hutchinson “Almost Solo” show scheduled for Monday, November 5, with special guest Jessie Payo has been postponed to Sunday, December 16, at 7:30 p.m.
All ticket holders may use their tickets for the new rescheduled dates.
