In the spirit of the Holiday season, St. James Episcopal Church will open its doors for a festive FREE concert by soprano Linda Parker this coming Saturday, December 15th at 6 pm. The stunning 250 year old church is located at 25 West Street in the heart of CityCenter. Holiday songs and Broadway music will fill the historic church’s rafters as CityCenter counts down to its celebration of First Night on New Year’s Eve.

Linda Parker, who will appear again this year as a highlight of First Night, has sung at St. James Church for many years, performs with the Danbury Chorus, St. John’s Chorale in Washington, CT, and at New Milford Fair Days. Her repertoire includes classical and sacred works as well as pieces from the legendary Broadway songbook: Rodgers and Hammerstein, Lerner and Lowe, Cole Porter, Leonard Bernstein, to name a few. A 2012 1st Place winner of the National Association of Teachers of Singing award, Linda is currently a member of the Waterbury Chorale and resides with her artist husband in New Milford.
