Heights & Lights returns to Stamford Downtown on Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 4:30pm when Santa and his friends will once again make their grand rappell down the 22 stories of Stamford’s Landmark Building, for Rappelling Santa presented by Reckson, A Division of SL Green Realty Corp. Sing along with the K.T. Murphy Chamber Singers and enjoy a spectacular Fireworks Display as we watch the exciting descent.

After the rappel, Santa’s busy holiday schedule will take him straight up Bedford Street to Latham Park where he will join the Stamford Community in the lighting of the Holiday Tree, donated by Bartlett Tree Company at First County Bank’s Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony starring The Broadway Kids.

The Broadway Kids, the only group of young performers from actual Broadway shows, has performed throughout the United States and in Europe. They can be seen individually on television and in the movies as well as on their home turf, Broadway!

Heights & Lights has become a tradition in the city. The event is sponsored by First County Bank, Reckson, A Division of SL Green Realty Corp., The Advocate, 95.9 The Fox, 96.7 The Coast, Star 99.9, 1400 WSTC/1350 WNLK, Bartlett Tree Company and Happyhaha.com and brought to you by The City of Stamford and The Stamford Downtown Special Services District.

THIS EVENT IS FREE! Free Hot Chocolate after the event at the First Congregational Church and Unitarian Universalist Society adjacent to Latham Park!
