Stamford, CT - “We are very pleased to announce that we have lined up a wonderfully diverse fall/winter season,” said SCA Executive Director, Elissa Getto. We continue to grow and expand our programming. We are very excited about the growth of our young people's programs where this season we are launching two new collaborative projects, Next Generation, a holiday gift for everyone from our ‘next generation’ of promising area performers and the Young Choreographers Festival, Voices and Vision, showcasing the work of young choreographers. We welcome back two resident companies, Stamford Symphony and The Connecticut Ballet, as well as new acts to the Palace stage including Joan Baez, comedians Joan Rivers and John Pinette, and the return of the family friendly Golden Dragon Acrobats in Cirque d'Or.

With our wide variety of offerings, we truly have something for everyone at The Palace this fall/winter season. With many wonderful restaurants downtown and more than adequate inexpensive parking, catching a show at The Palace is not only fun, affordable and entertaining for the entire family, but easy and convenient as well. We look forward to greeting our members, seeing many familiar faces and welcoming new members to our audience. Please join us at the Palace this season.”

The Namaskar Foundation kicks off the season on Fri., Sept 23 continuing their ‘World on Stage Presentations’ with two great multicultural performances. From India comes Parampara-Tradition Ishwara: The Dancing Lord, by Shijith & Parvathy, accompanied by a live orchestra; and on Fri., Oct. 7, direct from Cuba, The Kings of Salsa dances into the Palace with a slice of cool contemporary Cuba never before seen on stage in the US!
