Rhythm and Passion
On Saturday, September 19, 2009 take a journey through time to discover the origins of Tango, Salsa, and Gaucho with the stunning show Rhythm and Passion in The Bushnell’s Belding Theater. Feel the intensity of the smoke-filled bars and gambling halls of Buenos Aires, where the illicit tango evolved. Revel in the joy and exhilaration of salsa dancing in the streets in the Caribbean islands. Be seduced by the Argentine cowboy – the gaucho – and the dramatic storytelling of his art. Rhythm and Passion is sponsored by United Technologies Corporation.

Tickets for Rhythm and Passion are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting The Bushnell Box Office at 166 Capitol Avenue in Hartford or by calling (860) 987-5900. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.bushnell.org. Ticket prices start at $18.50.

The Rhythm and Passion cast has been featured in numerous commercials, TV shows, and films and its vibrant performers have shared the stage with some of the most renowned artists in the world. Their brilliant performances and choreography won them the Bronze Star Halo Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Entertainment Industry from the Southern California Motion Picture Council and their talent has been recognized and embraced around the world in Germany, Italy, France, Japan, Mexico, Latin America and across the USA.
