To celebrate both Valentine’s Day and Mardi Gras, The Neville Brothers along with Dr. John & The Lower 911 Band are coming to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, February 14, at 6:30 p.m.
Award-winning artists The Neville Brothers and Dr. John & his band The Lower 911 are live in concert at The Ridgefield Playhouse in a special Valentine’s Day event. The price of admission includes champagne, cuisine from area restaurants, a giant chocolate fountain and Mardi Gras beads! There will also be raffle tickets available to win “A Year of Beauty” at Adam Broderick Salon & Spa or a BMW for a weekend courtesy of BMW of Bridgeport and BMW of Ridgefield plus other items, all starting at 6:30 p.m.

Because Mardi Gras is only two days later, ticket holders also get beads that are synonymous with this musical holiday. This Valentine’s Day event is sponsored by Adam Broderick Salon & Spa, Cellar XV, Deborah Ann’s Sweet Shoppe, BMW of Ridgefield and BMW of Bridgeport. Media sponsors are WFUV 90.7fm & WEBE 108fm.

The ever-popular Neville Brothers -- Charles, Aaron, Art and Cyril – will perform their hits “Everybody Plays the Fool”, “Yellow River”, “Shake Your Tambourine” along with dozens more. You’ll hear “Right Place, Wrong Time”, “Iko, Iko”, “On a Mardi Gras Day”, “More Than You Know”, “Makin’ Whoopee” and “Such a Night” from multi- Grammy-Award winner Dr. John & The Lower 911 band.

To purchase tickets ($125 orchestra and $95 mezzanine) for this Valentine’s Day-Mardi Gras event on Sunday, Feb. 14 at 6:30 p.m., or for more information, call the Playhouse box office, 203- 438-5795, or visit ridgefieldplayhouse.org.
