Belinda Carlisle, Charlotte Caffey, Gina Schock and Jane Wiedlin -- The Go-Go’s -- are headlining at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Thursday, June 20, at 8 p.m. for a great night of high-octane girl powered music. This all-female American rock band is the embodiment of the 80s sound which has got that infectious dance beat.

Their hits include “We Got The Beat,” “Our Lips Are Sealed,” “Vacation,” “Head Over Heels and “Turn to You”. In their live shows, The Go-Go’s deliver every bit of the raw energy of their legendary punk beginnings, tempered with the wisdom of three decades of pop perfection.

These American rock sweethearts helped cement the foundation of the early ‘80?s pop-rock sound and have developed a whole new genre during an amazing three-decade reign as high pop priestesses.

Special guest is Carly & Eliza, the 17-year-old singer-songwriter pop-folk duo whose debut album Fighting Fate was released this year. The Little Pub will pour a free glass of house wine or draft beer with dinner the night of the show when tickets/stubs are presented. This event is part of the Guinness Black Lager Rock Series?and is partially underwritten by Adam Broderick Salon & Spa and Nature's Temptations.

The Go-Go’s’ Double-Platinum Beauty And The Beat reached #1. Like any truly classic rock band, their hits live on in countless compilations, movie soundtracks, remakes and television commercials. Today, just as in the beat-crazed ‘80s, no one sounds like The Go-Go’s but The Go-Go’s. The beat goes on…

For tickets ($90), call the box office (203) 438-5795, or order line at ridgefieldplayhouse.org. The Ridgefield Playhouse is a not-for-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT.
