Three food authors to speak at Ferguson Library

STAMFORD, CT - The Friends Author Series at the Stamford Ferguson Library welcomes food authors Katie Workman, Michele Stuart and Claire Criscuolo to the Main Library November 7 for an evening of food, wine and discussion.

Katie Workman is the author of The Mom 100 Cookbook, which has 100 recipes every mom needs in her back pocket. She has written extensively on food, and currently authors a bi-weekly column for The Huffington Post.

Michele Stuart is the owner and pastry chef of Michele’s Pies in Norwalk and Westport. Her book, Perfect Pies, has more than 80 delicious recipes for the pies that have earned her 26 National Pie Championship Awards.

Claire Crisculo is the long time owner of the restaurant, Claire’s Corner Copia in New Haven, and the author of Welcome to Claire’s: 35 Years of Recipes and Reflections from the Landmark Vegetarian Restaurant.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for a wine reception with appetizers from Bar Rosso and Capriccio Café. A book sale and signing will follow the program. Tickets are $15 and proceeds benefit the Library. Reserve online at fergusonlibrary.org or call 203 351-8275.
