This Valentine’s Day, The Ridgefield Playhouse has the perfect way to celebrate. It’s the music brides choose for their walk down the aisle and the music that has brought many a couple together. It’s The Men of Soul, Jeffrey Osborne and Peabo Bryson at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, February 11.
The romantic Valentine’s Day Champagne Fundraiser starts at 6:30 p.m. when everyone gets a free glass of champagne from Cellar XV, a buffet dinner compliments of Bissell House, East Ridge Café, Piccolo’s Pizza & Jazzeria, Ritz Asia and Southwest Café plus a chocolate fountain from Deborah Ann’s Sweet Shoppe.
The bubbly flows all night for Meet & Greet ticket holders! A rose from Rodier Flowers will be handed to each woman at the start of the event. Every raffle ticket purchased comes with an additional free glass of champagne. Raffle winners will receive “A Year of Beauty” from Adam Broderick Salon & Spa, or a piece of exquisite jewelry from Craig’s Fine Jewelry.

Each chance to win a BMW (!) from BMW of Ridgefield will be available for $25. The evening continues as Osborne and Bryson take the stage after the 8:30 p.m. live auction. It’s a great night of romance the Saturday before Valentine’s Day! This event is underwritten by Adam Broderick Salon & Spa, BMW of Ridgefield, Craig’s Fine Jewelry, Cellar XV, Deborah Ann’s Sweet Shoppe and Events Tent Rentals with media sponsor WEBE 108fm. DJ Stormin’ Norman will be on hand to help with the festivities.
Jeffrey Osborne and Peabo Bryson have sung the love songs that have nurtured relationships through the decades with their timeless lyrics about love. For this Valentine’s Day event, the artists will come together for one unforgettable night at The Ridgefield Playhouse. Balladeer Jeffrey Osborne’s career has spanned several decades, and he continues to engage audiences with such favorites as “On the Wings of Love”, “Don’t You Get So Mad”, “Only Human”, and the crowd favorite “The Woo Woo Song.” Jeffrey is one of the most accomplished R&B vocalists of our time. In addition to his many solo hits, he is the voice of the group LTD whose classics include”Holding On”, “Back in Love Again” and “Love Ballad”.
Oscar and Grammy® award winner Peabo Bryson has brought us such favorites as “Feel the Fire”, “Reaching for the Sky”, “I’m So into You”, and “Can You Stop the Rain”. The ‘Duet Master’ whose magical vocal chemistry has paired him with some of music's most phenomenal female singers (Minnie Ripperton, Natalie Cole, Celine Dion, Roberta Flack and Regina Belle), has helped shape the American soul music genre. Peabo created such hits as, “Here We Go”, “Tonight I Celebrate My Love” and the award-winning songs “Beauty and the Beast” and “A Whole New World”.
