Talk about all the ingredients for a romantic Valentine’s Day celebration at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, February 11! All it will take for a chance to win a 2011 BMW 328i xDrive 4-door sedan is a roll of dice while savoring sushi, champagne, dinner and decadent desserts. As unbelievable as it may sound, during the pre-show festivities from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., BMW of Ridgefield is giving away a BMW328i xDrive 4-door sedan to the first person who buys a chance to roll the dice and spells the designated key word before show time. All other chances purchased will be entered into a drawing to win the use of a BMW for a weekend.

Ed McGill, Dealer Principal at BMW of Ridgefield, explained: “The 2011 BMW 3 series marks the 20th consecutive year as a Top 10 Best Win from Car and Driver, an accomplishment no other vehicle on the market can match. This Valentine’s Day Event provides a wonderful opportunity to win this BMW and support the Ridgefield Playhouse at the same time.”

Not only are the food, drink and raffle prizes enticing, but the entertainment with The Men of Soul Jeffrey Osborne and Peabo Bryson is top-notch! These soul men are two of the most famous artists who are known for their smash hits “On the Wings of Love”, “Tonight I Celebrate My Love” and many more Oscar and Grammy® Award-winning songs. The Valentine’s celebration starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Playhouse lobby and under a heated portico where a BMW will be on display along with the dice game for anyone who wants to take a chance to take home a new BMW 328i xDrive sedan. Champagne from Cellar XV, sushi from Ritz Asia, and dinner from Southwest Café, Bissell House, East Ridge Café and Piccolo’s Pizza & Jazzeria with a decadent chocolate fountain from Deborah Ann’s Sweet Shoppe, cookies from Whistle Stop Bakery plus a rose for every lady courtesy of Rodier Flowers will be offered to all ticket holders. Each raffle ticket for a chance to win “A Year of Beauty“ for products and services from Adam Broderick Salon & Spa or a 72-pc. diamond & 18k white gold pendant from Craig’s Fine Jewelry comes with a glass of champagne. This event is underwritten by Adam Broderick Salon & Spa, BMW of Ridgefield, Craig’s Fine Jewelry, Cellar XV, Deborah Ann’s Sweet Shoppe and Events Tents & Rentals. Sponsors are Rodier Flowers, Southwest Café, East Ridge Café, Bissell House, Piccolo’s Pizza & Jazzeria, Ritz Asia and Whistle Stop Bakery with media sponsor WEBE 108fm. DJ Stormin’ Norman will be on hand to help with the festivities.

The evening continues with “The Men of Soul”, Jeffrey Osborne and Peabo Bryson, after the 8:30 p.m. live auction. With a career that spans several decades, balladeer Jeffrey Osborne continues to engage audiences with such favorites as “On the Wings of Love”, “Stay With Me Tonight,” “We’re Going All the Way,” “Don’t Stop,” “Don’t You Get So Mad”, “Only Human”, and the crowd favorite “The Woo Woo Song.” As one of the most accomplished R&B vocalists of our time, Jeffrey Osborne was the voice of the hit group LTD whose classics include ”Holding On”, “(Every time I Turn Around) Back in Love Again” and the timeless song “Love Ballad”.

Oscar® and Grammy® award winner Peabo Bryson has brought us such hits as “Here We Go”, “Tonight I Celebrate My Love”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “A Whole New World”, “Feel the Fire”, “Reaching for the Sky”, “I’m So Into You”, and “Can You Stop the Rain”. The ‘Duet Master’s magical vocal chemistry has paired him with some of music's most phenomenal female singers including Natalie Cole, Celine Dion, and Roberta Flack.
