A limited number of tickets will be available for $15 at the Westport Senior Center in advance of the event.
Phantom Pluckers is a dynamic four-piece rock band that combines fresh, original songwriting with high musicianship. Bassist, vocalist, and composer Brian Torff leads Phantom Pluckers using his extensive jazz background to craft tight arrangements for vocals, guitar, saxophone, bass, and drums. Formed in 2012, the band has played numerous shows in the Northeast, recorded an EP and has released live performance material on YouTube. This new band is very different from most indie bands with its tightly scored sound that incorporates blues, rock, world music, and jazz styles.
The Renovators are a New York group with a bluesy sound combined with witty vocals. This is a key attraction to the band, and they have something new and entertaining around each bend. The Renovators take the listener on a musical journey of the melodic structure they've renovated just for the listener. They are band of players and songwriters who write and perform their own bluesy, rockin’ songs and like to bring a sense of humor to their musical work. Their earthy soul and wry perspective has proven to be something people like to listen and dance to.
89.5FM WPKN Radio will present a remote live broadcast of the Blues Festival to their listeners throughout Fairfield County.
