If it’s the weekend, it’s….opera at The Ridgefield Playhouse! The 2012-13 season of The Met: Live in HD at The Ridgefield Playhouse opens with world-class opera star Anna Netrebko in Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore on Sunday, October 14, at 1 p.m. On Saturday, October 27, at 12:55 p.m. and Sunday, October 28, at 1 p.m., it’s Verdi’s Otello starring Renée Fleming and Johan Botha. Pre- and post-opera prix-fixe menus are available at Bernard’s (22 West Lane, Ridgefield) making going to the opera a total experience. Reservations are suggested.
