Alive@Five lineup announced, Boyz II Men to perform in August

STAMFORD, CT – The region’s hottest free concert series, Alive @ Five kicks off Thursday, June 19th in Columbus Park in Stamford Downtown. This year’s star-studded lineup starts with Blues Traveler and closes with Boyz II Men and includes Blind Melon, Eve 6, Gato Barbieri, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes and Billy Vera. The concerts begin at 5pm and run seven Thursdays, June-August (no show July 3).

On June 19 Blues Traveler will take the Heineken Stage. The band is best known for their improvisational live shows and is most popular for their huge singles "Run-Around" and "Hook" which both gained mainstream radio popularity in the mid 90s. The former song won a Grammy and broke a record for most weeks on the charts.

The series continues for seven weeks (no concert July 3):

Alive @ Five is presented by RBS on the Heineken Stage in partnership with Stamford Town Center, Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and BevMax.

The event is produced by the Stamford Downtown Special Services District and the City of Stamford.
