Ferguson Library offers new research service

Stamford, CT - Stamford’s Ferguson Library now offers a new service: Book a Librarian. You can reserve up to one hour with a professional librarian who will help you with your information or technology research needs.

Book a Librarian is perfect for research, computer or Internet instruction, resume or job search information, guidance for report or term paper preparation, local history and genealogy research and help with the Library’s electronic collections. The service is designed to be instructional – we provide the tools to help you with your project.

Book a Librarian is available Monday - Thursday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - noon at the Main Library. Call 351-8221 or 351-8222 to “Book a Librarian.” You can also use the online form on the Research page of our website, fergusonlibrary.org.

The Ferguson Library is Stamford’s public library system, consisting of the Main Library downtown, the Harry Bennett Branch, the Weed Memorial & Hollander Branch, the South End Branch and a traveling Bookmobile. It provides free and equal access to print, audiovisual and evolving electronic resources. Its website, www.fergusonlibrary.org, offers remote access to information and resources 24 hours a day.
