STAMFORD, CT, Feb. 16, 2010 — A strong commitment to community service has been a First County Bank founding mission since opening its doors in 1851. Today, the bank is proud to announce Stephanie Frederick has been elected to the board of trustees for the Norwalk Seaport Association.
Frederick, a 17 year veteran of the bank and Norwalk resident, is vice president, systems manager at First County Bank. Her responsibilities as a Norwalk Seaport trustee include governing the affairs of the organization, shaping the annual budget, contract signings and event planning efforts. In addition to her role as trustee, Frederick also serves the local community by being an active member of the board of the Norwalk YMCA, and volunteering for the Norwalk Seaport Association Oyster Festival, All Saints & Trinity Catholic Schools Career Society and the Norwalk Athletic Association.
The Norwalk Seaport Association, a nonprofit environmental, preservation and maritime educational organization, elected officers and trustees during its annual meeting in December. The board is made up of 30 members from Fairfield County.
