On Friday evening, September 10th, Greenwich Avenue will transform into fashion’s ultimate party with a late night of style, makeovers, music and more in celebration of Fashion’s Night Out, a worldwide celebration of fashion created to local support local economies.

In Greenwich several retail locations, restaurants and other businesses will stay open later than usual to kick-off the fall season in style. Participating businesses include Brooks Brothers, Citizen’s Bank, Elm Street Oyster House, Equinox, Harrow, J. Crew, Lacoste, Lilly Pulitzer, Mediterraneo, Morello, Peridot Fine Jewelry, Ralph Lauren, Ralph Lauren Rugby, Saks Fifth Avenue, Sephora, TD Bank, Terra, Theory, (list is still in formation).

Starting at 6 p.m., each participating location will be hosting its own festivities including refreshments, entertainment, giveaways and more! See each location for specific details. All are welcome to attend. It’s a great opportunity to support your local businesses and have a fun evening out!

Fashion’s Night Out is an unprecedented global initiative created to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, and boost the industry’s economy. In the United States, the program is collaboration between American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City of New York. On September 10, 2009, more than 700 stores stayed open late to put the fun back in shopping, with designer appearances, live windows, celebrity guests, and other special events. On the same night around the world, and led by twelve international Vogue editions (United Kingdom, Greece, Italy, Russia, France, Brazil, India, Spain, China, Germany, Japan, and Taiwan), each country tailored its Fashion’s Night Out celebration to appeal to its city’s unique retail environment.
