Hauterfly Spring 2008
Canaiden LLC and the New England Fashion+Design Association partner to offer a spectacular fashion-insider view of Fairfield County, one of North America's hottest fashion trend-setting regions

Canaiden LLC and the New England Fashion+Design Association announced today the launch of Hauterfly - a new fashion section that will appear in both Stamford Plus and Norwalk Plus magazines starting with their Spring 2008 issues.

Produced in close partnership with the NEF+DA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting a dynamic fashion community, based in Norwalk, CT, Hauterfly will be the premier source for Fairfield County fashion. It will feature fresh fashion ideas, information on rising local and international designers, fashion photography and many other topics including the ongoing transformation and rise of Fairfield County as an international stage for fashion.

“New York may be the current fashion capital of the world, but New England is the essence of American Fashion and Fairfield County, as the stage for New England Fashion, offers an amazing powerful opportunity for new designers to not only stage and present their collections but also to find a home base of operation. This is why we have chosen Fairfield County to be the center of the micro-fashion brand movement we've created,” said Marc Feldman, co-chair of NEF+DA.

“This new publication will offer the new designers who are increasingly locating in the area an important way to share the passion and inspiration of their work with Fairfield County boutiques, fashionistas and, of course, the large fashion community who live in the area but commute into NYC daily,” remarked Mr. Feldman.

“The launch of Hauterfly is a natural step in the process of establishing Fairfield County as a true capital of the fashion world,” said Naiden Stoyanov, publisher of Stamford Plus and Norwalk Plus magazines.

The word “hauterfly” is a fashion slang that describes someone who has insider information about anything that happens in the fashion world.

Hauterfly will be launched as a regular section within Stamford Plus and Norwalk Plus magazines with the intent to branch out as a separate publication in the near future.
