Now through the end of August only, Becker Salon is offering the hottest hair special, “Say Goodbye to Summer Frizz,” Becker’s Brazilian Blowout and haircut for $399. Ten percent of the proceeds will be donated to Kids in Crisis.

The Brazilian Blowout, as noted recently on AOL news as a life-changing experience, is the only professional smoothing treatment that improves the health of the hair. Less breakage, long-lasting results (twelve weeks, depending on number of hair washings) and the fact that it can be used on color-treated hair are some of the many benefits. Plus the Brazilian Blowout is formaldehyde-free. Formaldehyde, which is used in other straightening products, is a toxic chemical and when exposed to the human body, can pose serious health risks.

Ten percent of the “Say Goodbye to Summer Frizz” hair special will be donated to Kids in Crisis, www.kidsincrisis.org, Connecticut’s only free, round-the-clock agency providing emergency shelter, crisis counseling and community educational programs for children of all ages and families dealing with a wide range of crises—domestic violence, mental health and family problems, substance abuse, economic difficulties and more. Since its founding in 1978, Kids in Crisis has helped more than 96,000 Connecticut children and families; last year, more than 7,300 adults and children received assistance from the organization.

Becker Salon is located at 268 Mason Street in Greenwich. The hours are Monday through Friday 9AM to 7PM and Saturday 8AM to 6PM. To make an appointment, call 203-340-9550. For further information about Becker Salon, visit www.beckersalon.com.
