Free Beauty Series for Female Cancer Patients

The latest cancer treatments are not always prescribed by doctors. At Stamford Hospital’s Bennett Cancer Center, female patients are learning just that from the “Look Good…Feel Better” program.

This free program teaches beauty techniques to women who are actively undergoing cancer treatment, to help them combat the appearance-related side effects of radiation and chemotherapy.

The next session of “Look Good…Feel Better” will take place on Wednesday, August 13 from 4 – 6 p.m. at Stamford Hospital’s Bennett Cancer Center Conference Room in Stamford. For more information or to register, contact Michelle Palazzo at the Bennett Cancer Center, (203) 276-6143.

“Look Good…Feel Better” is offered through a partnership between Stamford Hospital’s Bennett Cancer Center; the American Cancer Society; the Cosmetics, Toiletry & Fragrance Association Foundation; and the National Cosmetology Association.
