Stamford, CT - Fall’s the time of the year we all get busy after a slower paced summer season. Schedules, school, practices, games, tryouts….Running from soccer practice to other activities leaves very little time to eat together as a family and eat nutritiously. Breakfast is the mealtime skipped most often. Go to an athletic practice or the game and then stop at Margot Café and Wine Bar, located at Bull’s Head, 59 High Ridge Road in Stamford for a fairly priced, homestyle breakfast cooked on the premises. Every youngster wearing a soccer uniform on Saturday, September 20th eating breakfast with an adult will receive a free hot chocolate. There’s something for everyone the menu items such as freshly baked muffins and pastry, Breakfast Pizza (a pizza crust topped with eggs, cheese, veggies and choice of bacon or sausage) and homemade Granola with Yogurt and Fruit. Margot’s way to celebrate the opening of the café for breakfast hours from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

After almost of year of perfecting her menus and staff, Ms. Olshan is prepared to expand the dinner service. Need to unwind after work during the week, searching for the thoughtful date locale or simply tired of eating alone at home? On Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, beginning on September 23rd and 24th, from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm, enjoy dinner entree at Margot Café and Wine Bar located at Bull’s Head, 59 High Ridge Road in Stamford and you’ll receive a free glass of wine (from our wine list at $6, $7 or $8 per glass). This offer is good until October 29, 2008.

Margot Olshan, Chef/Owner of Margot Café and Wine Bar added, “I want to offer expanded dinner hours and Saturday breakfast so my friends and neighbors can have a place where they can relax and be assured of interesting, yet simple food, really good wine with great service and fairly priced.” Trained at the Institute for Culinary Education in New York City, Chef Olshan is a member of the ensemble cast of “Everyday Food,” a PBS cooking show produced by Martha Stewart. As a private chef for celebrities and the head of the commissary for Martha Stewart Omnimedia television studio in Westport, CT, Margot honed her cooking skills over the years to perfection.
